on top of things
today was a 11/10 day. as a couple we have many days that are very important to us, and these arent just anniversaries. for example the barcelona trip which was really just so fuzzy wuzzy it was almost like a honeymoon. kinda like milestones.. anyways i gave amanda a huge box of photos, for the past month so far. the kind of idea is that looking back at all those (524 for 4 weeks) after some time after on will just get us all emo and mushy again.
which is what we have been like in real life but ive been trying to tone it down on my blog somewhat. i mean alot of tom dick and harry read this blog what. must keep us some appearance. hahaha neither of us has any backup plan, as we semi jokingly discussed today. im really glad for that though, as in i think the odd thing is that neither of us is looking elsewhere and thinking what if or what else this time round. thats why its going to work. i think germaine has had a damascean experience - previously she thought it wasnt going to work at all, but i think we convinced her that we really have something going on right down here. and yeah the conversation is like verbal diarrhoea all the time we just keep talking and laughing. we watched abit of closer today and got emo discussions going.. that's why 11/10 huh amanda soon =)
im kinda irritated with singapore though, so im glad im leaving earlier (11th april). come back and mug my own ass off with amanda in our lil world. realised that although home is where the other person is, we are infinitely more comfortable in london together. i mean close to europe, and i thought today walking along town that falling so entirely deeply in love with someone is only possible in a favourable climate. singapore is fucked up. both our skins are beginning to decline with this horrid weather and the clinging humidity. paul smith at isetan is fucking horrible!!! GROSS GROSS GROSS. i cant be bothered to do anything much here. tml is a busy day what with claiming back money and going to the tailor and all that, but i and amanda are going to start mugging our asses off. pom! pom!
the march 9th post on the sartorialist about al bazhar is just very very enticing. i wish i could go milan to visit that shop and get a few shirts and trousers. i think amanda soon kinda wasted it cos you dont really wanna go to a place more than once but HAIYA. the shopkeeper can measure shirts just by sight? you know how difficult it is to get good shirts.. and for 105 euros only.. hmm
